Offer a WRX wagon ASAP.
I'm currently moving apartments and borrowed my grandmother's 2018 Crosstrek because moving with a Mini is literal torture. This is the perfect size for a practical vehicle for me. Just needs a bit more omph and to be a bit shorter.

The last of the breed. This one is mine.

Every 3 years, Subie changes from ONLY WAGON to NO WAGON to MAYBE WAGON on that car.
I’m personally a fan of cars like the Mazdaspeed3 or Golf R because they force the hatch into the market and help create acceptance -- even if a coupe/sedan version might be 0.2 seconds faster to 60.

Seriously! I drove my sister’s ‘06 WRX wagon again last night and remembered how much fun that car is, while still being practical.
My E46 feels 1,000lbs heavier, despite being only ~300lbs heavier. My wife’s Mini is great, but smaller. So yeah.

Never ever sell this.

How could they take this option away from us?!

They kind of do... but it’s your typical “no wagons for America” deal.

It’s more Legacy based though.

I’m pretty sure if they put the FA20F in there and called it a C rosstrek XT they would print money. Then again I don’t know anything about how running a car company works... I just know I’d want one.

Which is why used prices are bananas

I love getting diseases in the woods!

Not lifted. The Crosstrek feels like riding a city bus you sit so high.

Don't remind me about thre Levorg. I would do bad things for a Levorg with a stick.

“Hatchback”

It would be a very good replacement for the old Forester XT.

They did that with the STI but up until 2015 the WRX was always available as both a sedan and a hatch.

I concur

Not according to the title. Or the internet . Even Subaru won’t call it a hatchback - they call it a 5-door and the 5th door is a “gate”.

According to a salesman I was talking to last weekend, most people who look at a new WRX/STI have said they’d rather it be a hatch. I am one of those.
